Three Essays: Students can look through notes and old board questions to help answer these essays.

1. What rebirth of thought (Renaissance) brought about the Age of Exploration? Be sure to include important people, inventions, and discoveries that allowed it to occur
2. Which countries led the way during the Age of Exploration? What were their individual motives from exploration and eventual colonization?
3. What was the Columbian Exchange? What were the things exchanged from the different places? How did it change the lives of all the people involved?
